Penty For All - Adelaide

This is like one of those Hari Christener places that you go to where you have to wash up your own dishes and pay whatever you think is fair. I think it's probably good for homeless people who need a bit of a hand up but it's not a full service restaurant.

We call this place just 'Plenty'. It's removed from the Hutt Street glam, unpretentiously doing what it does. You will likely be greeted by the quietly spoken owner, who is cool personified. No, not that kind of cool - the one people try to be - the other kind. Plenty is open for lunch Monday to Friday. There is a selection of baguettes and sandwiches, a couple of salads and a fruit salad in the cabinet. But go for the Nepalese curries and the soups!! Whenever I need to feel fed, nourished, comforted - this is where I go. There is a different curry for each day of the week, and a couple of soups in winter. Try the pea and ham soup and the base camp chicken curry!! Nothing seems to change here, and it doesn't need to. They now also have a restaurant in North Adelaide.

A small but inviting cafe located on the fringe of Hutt Street. There is a small amount of outdoor seating on offer. The service and the coffee are good. There are salads and pre-prepared rolls on offer. Worth a visit.

Try their chorizo pannini!! It has to be the ymmiest lunch I've had a cafe.

Man, try their chorizo lapina. The best lunch hands down.
