What Tamara Sherif likes about Penny University:
Another favourite of ours and top pick for cafe. Has been our go to lunch spot for a number of years. Best coffee in the city and love the freshly made salads every day. Also very reasonably priced for serving size. Definitely recommended. View all feedback. What SAFireBear doesn't like about Penny University:
I went to this cafe for tea and cake mid-afternoon. The staff were friendly but the cake was very stale. A strong smell of bleach as the staff washed the floor around me also did nothing to enhance the experience. Won't be going back!! View all feedback.

read morePenny University in Adelaide is a popular but busy cafe that offers a mix of decent coffee and average food options. Some have found the prices to be high for small portions, while others have praised the delicious desserts like the snickers cannoli. The environment is described as cozy and homely, making it a great spot to visit during a lunch break. The menu offers a variety of salads and meat dishes that you can mix and match to create a satisfying meal. Despite some minor flaws like chipped plates and slow service, the overall experience at Penny University seems to be positive, with highlights being the French toast, smoked salmon dish, and Shakshuka. So, if you're willing to overlook the hustle and bustle, Penny University is definitely worth a try for a delicious and satisfying meal.
