Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received a mix of reviews, with some guests feeling that it was overpriced for the quality of food received and others being blown away by the experience. While some found the food to be bland and underwhelming, others praised the amazing quality and taste of the dishes offered. The service received mixed feedback, with some mentioning great service while others noted slow service and the need for more staff. The restaurant's ambiance was also a point of contention, with some guests finding the layout uninviting and noisy, while others appreciated the luxurious setting and comfort of the dining experience. Overall, the Mayflower restaurant seems to offer a range of dining experiences, from high tea to buffet breakfasts to fine dining, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.
Felt like we had gone into the 1980s. interesting restaurant in the mayfair hotel after revising the menu this was also the case, I ordered the beef wellington, that was very delicious my friend ordered the steak that was a little light on the light side, so we ordered a side of broccoli, but when it arrived, it was a cold broccoli salat?! overall it was a ok experience
This place is beautiful. great service. great cocktails, but eating was not amazing. it was still good. even the wow factor of dessert was not there. she looked spectacular, but it actually cost as if it had been done days ago, which is strange for a Saturday night. dissatisfied when I heard great things.

We dined here for dinner on sat night. We were running late, and informed the staff of our arrival time of 830. We were told 845 was the last sitting, and kitchen was open to 9. We were staying in the hotel and attended the restaurant reception at 836. After standing there for a few mins we were sat down. We were told we could no longer order entrees and we could only order mains due to the kitchen closing? As I write this I still don’t understand. So if I wanted the cold Caesar salad I would not be allowed it? We ordered the lamb Wellington and chicken cordon Bleu. Both were generous sized. Perfectly cooked and served with delicious sauces. We were also given a free piece of Sacher...read more
Loved it here!!! The food was amazing and my favourite part was when they brought around the huge selection of desserts in a cart. The atmosphere is relaxing and be sure to check out the Hennessy Bar on the top floor. Also the pastry pic is the lobster soup! So yummy!
