Best white cream sauce ever . Did not feel like leaving my spoon . The pizza topping was not that great but the bread In the pizza was good enough to make up for it it is a must try View all feedback.
What Florian Kilback doesn't like about Lucia's Pizza and Spaghetti Bar:
Food is amazing as always. Unfortunately their are a few rude staff who work there. Off putting and won't be returning now.. I remember coming here as a child and everyone was always friendly. Money has turned them up themselves now View all feedback.
Been to Lucia's a lot for coffee and indeed, a french nutrition professor outlined the coffee/not burnt flavour of a long black here as being very good! Met the mum and with the lad for lunch. I tried the staple of spaghetti with bolognaise. I know some staff so always lovely to see them and a pleasure to be served by them. Food served quite quickly The bolognaise flavour was deep and rich, and of a biggish size so ended up taking some home. Was a busy lunch time but would've preferred the waiter to pop the eftovers in the container rather than leave me to do it. That aside, at around $13.50, good quality and value, and a fine institution in the Markets
Delicious! A generous serving size for the price too. I had beef ravioli with Bolognaise sauce. I found the sauce a tiny bit watery but that didn't water down any flavour and I thought the price of my small glass bottle of Coke was a bit much. Other than that I loved it and will come back most definitely!
A busy cafe at the central markets, very Italian with well trained staff ! I had the gnocchi with bolognaise sauce $12.50, good value and great for families. They don't seem to worry about the presentation however for that price it's not a problem.
Oh how I completely love the decor of this place. Looks like they haven't updated a thing in 40-50 years but it just has this charm that oozes out of its beautiful Italian pores. Fast, efficient service. I went here over a busy business lunch hour period and got served promptly and received our meals not long after. The gnocchi was a bit mushy but the two different sauces- basil pesto on one and bolognese on the other (coz the sign of a great Italian restaurant is amazing bolognese sauce- amiright!?) were tasty and hearty. A bit of a central markets institution that everyone should try, I'm gonna go back for breakfast one day coz I hear it's ridiculously good :)
