I was here many years ago, but with many choices in Gouger street, this place has escaped my attention until now. It 's no nonsense Yum Cha with perhaps more focus on the food than the service. But then this is a place to savour the...many offerings and not get offended by the mechanical attitude of staff. After all they just want to get the food to you swiftly and still hot. There 's a great range of dumplings and o... View all feedback.
What Robyn Hoeger doesn't like about Kingdom Chinese Restaurant:
We were new to the city and we had a late lunch at this place as we have been to restaurants with same chinese name in other Australian Cities. It wasn't busy when we arrived so we hoped for a quick service as we were in a hurry. However we waited for a long time for them to take our order and for the food to come. The dishes came 1 or 2 at at a time which I though it could have been arrived at the same time as we sa... View all feedback.
Worse ever customer service come from the owner! as a family who likes to eat in the sauce, the owner tells us that we use too much sose and ask why we eat the sose on a plate for. chased to us and demanded that she calculate for the sauce if we ask for more and told her workers not to give us any more sauce. would not recommend to come here!
This is our favorite place for yum cha in adelaide. we thought they were delicious. our only grip is that they don't put price on their yum cha menu so they will leave until they get their bill. service can be met and miss.
They enjoy their Yam Cha in the frame of the gouger street yum cha street party. friendly staff and generous portions. the first few portions were stellar and tasty, though some were dominated by battery and oil, and would have benefited from a little more attention. table and atmosphere were good. love to try again in
Went as friends invited me along for dim sum. It was packed at Food wasn't that great. Often we had to order the dishes we wanted instead of waiting for the staff to being them around. Service is lacking.
Absolutely atrocious service and horrible, cold food. The staff only served their own first (other Chinese people), leaving my family waiting for hours. At least Chinese groups who arrived AFTER us already ate courses and left, and we hadn't even recieved entrees yet! They finally brought ONE dish, which was the BBQ meat dish my mum and I ordered to share. We tried one bite and it was COLD. After waiting even longer, they didn't even bring out the vegetables we ordered to eat with the meat...NOR the entree my Aunty ordered. So we just got up and left. So disapointing. We will never go back.
