Nestled in the quieter side of Waymouth Street is a brand-spanking new Thai restaurant that goes by the name Kin Thai. The name was given birth with the concept that Thai people generally like to share their meals with family and friends, so it operates by inviting people "to eat Thai food". While the restaurant itself might be fairly small and only able to harbour 18 people at a time, the ambience of this cute, little place is absolutely relaxing, with lots of natural lighting, cozy sofas, beautiful and colourful pillows, and enough chairs and/or stools to enjoy a feast with friends and family on a table.  What struck me most about Kin Thai was how there is a beautiful balance of culture and modernism under one tiny roof. A small thai restaurant with nice cosy ambience, not too crowded, just the way I like~ Food is delicious and I heart their "coconut smoothie", coconut lovers must give it a try! price is reasonable, friendly staff with great service, I will definitely be back to try other dishes!
