Hotel Richmond - First Lounge Bar and Restaurant

Amazing atmosphere loves the old school feeling. the decor is very welcoming, we stayed only for a beer, but the menu looked very appetizing. service is prompt, I like to be left alone to relax between the comfortable leather lounge and the middle eastern drapery

We couldn't owe this place if we tried. the decor is very well made and the food was to die. the char grilled beef fillet is one of the best steaks I've ever had. completely outstanding. the rocket, birne, walnut, parmesan, aioli by the sidealat was also delicious, like the small stockplates (especially the spiced lammkofta). if I had to be picky, I would say that more beer varieties would be good on tap, but that's a personal thing.

Awful Two people other than myself here on a Saturday evening Instead of people going to Switzerland for a dignified assisted suicide, pop along here for ‘happy hour’. Soon get the job done It’s quiet at least I guess

Visited for a breakfast dine in with friends. Restaurant was not busy, however our meals for 4 people took the best part of 40 minutes. Poached eggs were all boiled eggs. Hollandaise sauce was all vinegar tasting. Disappointed for the cost of the meals.

We were most fortunate to select Richmond Hotel in The Rundle Mall for our recent luncheon date. Selecting from the most suitable menu we chose cheese burger with a spicy chicken bowl and generous salad washed down with a light lemon in a long, long...glass. However that was the food which was delicious and very big serves, the music emanating from the Mall complimented the elevated view over the whole Mall area with its classic buildings interspersed with new modern architecture in relief. It was a beautiful sunny day and the setting on the balcony was quite something else above the crowded coffee serving places and such you find (of course) in the Mall. A moment of quiet reflection (between tunes). Tip: There are about six tables so be early before 1300 PM to be sure of getting one!
