It seems to be in Japan ... go in and they make you take off your shoes. The place is really nice, with tables practically set in the parquet. Very good dinner. Very special and romantic experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant:
The food was a little bit tasteless and each dish was literarily mouthful, the presentation was fabulous though. Maybe focus more on the taste rather than the decoration. The price was high, compare to the quantity and the quality of the food, it does not worth it. View all feedback.

We went to celebrate my son's 18 birthday. The food was OK but nothing 'fision'. Just like any other good Japanees restaurant. The service was absoltely cold. They saw our celebartion (including candels) and they weren’t able to do anythning to make it more remarcable. 50 AUS$ per person.

Ordered the large plate of sashimi to the room - looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for I don't know how long. Blurrgh. Good ol takeaway soy containers.Tempura ok.Wagyu tatami still makes me shudder, tasted off.Miso smelt off and weird - but I just could be spoilt with good miso.
A pleasant environment simulating modern Japanese decor and with a North Terrace city view, the sunken table seating, demeanor and attire of the waiting staff adding some authenticity.Food was very nicely prepared and presented, tasty with a few fusion touches, plenty of choice of good sake to sip. Sashimi was excellent. A little on the expensive side of average. Some difficulty in extracting ones self from the table (unfamiliar position).
