While the food often receives praise, with standout dishes like salt and pepper squid and flavorful prawns, some diners report inconsistencies in preparation and portion sizes. Service experiences vary greatly; some patrons enjoyed friendly staff, while others faced delays and rude interactions. Additionally, the atmosphere can be quite noisy, making conversation challenging. Despite some logistical hiccups like parking and understaffing, many patrons remain hopeful for a return visit to explore more menu options and revisit the highlights.
I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant, from the colorful posters on the walls to the hanging lanterns. The prices for the food were reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered the salt and pepper eggplant (which came in a larger portion than expected), beef curry, pad see ew, and pork belly skewers. Unfortunately, the eggplant was a bit too oily for my taste, and the pork skewers could have had more meat for the price. However, overall it was a pleasant dining experience.
Three words: sea star dumplings!! I have never experienced anything like them before! They are both adorable and tasty. I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant. The interior is lively and they have a wide variety of Asian dishes at affordable prices. My partner and I dined here for a romantic evening, but I can see this being an ideal spot for larger groups as well.
I have visited Five Feet Street Eats for both lunch and dinner, and both times were fantastic. The service is exceptional, with a quick 15-minute $15 lunch menu option that provides a generous portion. The dinner experience was also excellent, with generous servings and great value for money. The food is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the Sea Star dumplings as they are a must-have dish, but everything I have tried so far has been good.
Went there a couple times because its close to work. Love their food and never disappointed. Friendly staff. There was once where they mixed up the order and the staff apologised and fixed it straight away. So professional. One small thing Wish they have a point system thru an app not the old school stamp loyalty card. Also allow people use the same card for multiple purchases which makes more sense!
Super tasty food. Great atmosphere and outstanding service. Very friendly staff and cheap too! We’ll be back there again and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
