I visited Fawn for a catch-up lunch with a friend. The staff are very friendly and the food is great - the fact that they serve breakfast until 2:30pm is a special plus in my book. I had an omelette with chorizo, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes and a side of smoked salmon and it was very nice. Would go back again for sure. My friend had very particular dietary requirements and she was very well looked after. View all feedback.
Nice quaint cafe located on Gilles Street. Wasn’t too busy when we visited and nabbed an outside table as the weather was pleasant. There is plenty of inside seating too if the weather isn’t favourable. Easier just to order and pay at the counter but they can come to take your order if you prefer. Service is lovely. <br/ <br/ Had a Mocha and Skim Latte and the blend they use is quite smooth and easy to drink. The knitted holders around the cup is quite a nice touch and cute.
This morning we had breakfast at Fawn Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed the avocado, smashed peas, and mint on toast. The cafe has a lovely and simple atmosphere, with friendly staff. We would definitely go back when we are in Adelaide again.
Friendly service with a cosy atmosphere and fun music. Lovely food and drinks do recommend the avocado, pea, mint and feta bruschetta. Also if you’re a green thumb, this place is decked out with healthy indoor foliage! :
This wonderful cafe offers excellent coffee and delicious breakfast and lunch choices! The SALA artwork on display adds a nice touch. The staff is friendly and always ready for a chat.
The haloumi on toasted rye bread was a generous portion and was served with fresh cherry tomatoes, rocket, seeds, and a delicious chili oil dressing. It was absolutely delicious. Although I planned on trying something from the dessert cabinet, I was too full to indulge, but I see that as a good reason to come back soon. I also appreciated the café's décor. Instead of the retro style favored by many cafes in Adelaide, this café had a fresh and inviting look with light walls, plenty of beautiful plants, and a trendy and clean atmosphere. The café's location in an old corner shop allows for plenty of natural light to filter in. Every detail in the presentation of the café was meticulously thought out. In summary, this café stands out from the rest with its great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious artisan food, and quality coffee. The easy parking on Gilles Street adds to the overall relaxing experience that this wonderful place has to offer. Would I recommend giving it a try? Absolutely everything about Fawn is a 5/5. They are open Monday through Saturday.
