What Bobbie Collins doesn't like about East Taste Cafe:
Used to go to ET regularly. Never again. Went there not long ago and had the worst food was sick for three days after from suspected food poisoning. Very disappointing. View all feedback. What Famished likes about East Taste Cafe:
Sensational food. br/ br/ My friend and I shared Shallot Cakes; Salt Pepper Bean Curd; Salt Pepper Eggplant, and East Taste Noodle with seafood. The portions were large, and with a bottle of sparkling Shiraz cost us $75. Great value. br/ br/ Highly recommend East Taste if you're in the area and keen for some quality Asian cuisine. They also trade much later than their competitors on Gouger St. View all feedback.

read moreEast Taste restaurant offers a mixed experience to its patrons. While some diners have complained of food poisoning after a recent visit, others have raved about the friendly service and delicious dishes such as the lemongrass pepper pork chop. The menu seems to be hit or miss, with some dishes lacking in flavor while others, like the shallot cakes and sizzling garlic prawns, are highly recommended. The restaurant is open late, making it a convenient spot for those looking for a late-night bite. For those who can't make it to the restaurant, there are hopes for a delivery service in the future. Overall, East Taste seems to have its highs and lows, but for those who enjoy Asian cuisine and are in the area, it may be worth a visit.
