We love everything about this restaurant.....the atmosphere, the décor, the service, and of course, the food never disappoints. On this last visit we introduced friends to the Club, and they, like us initially, didn't know it existed, despite living only kilometres away. We were looking forward to a CLUB with some dress sense, nice atmosphere old world charm. Instead it was a dated 1960 decor, with drab surroundings inside.The staff were very friendly but do need some training in service. The food was OK but not what we would expect. We made a good note. the place is old-fashioned and it looks a bit like a kantine, but we really enjoyed our time there because the personal was very friendly and attentive to the children. it's a pub court and we ordered laughs. Although we do not love ourselves from fried common entrées, we enjoyed the net that consisted of generous sharing.
I am born and bred adelaide, but did not know that this east terrace adelaide edelstein existed until brightonbeau and I visited last night on an online voucher. what a wonderful surprise to find this amazing place. club bragg is located in public schools club. we loved the atmosphere that resembles the club of an exclusive Adelaide institution member (e.g. the marine and military club, the adelaide club). the dining room was nicely decorated, and while there was no open fire, it was heated more than enough on an icey cold night by a split system air conditioning system. the personal is lovely. political, friendly and attentive. our voucher consisted of a...read more
Our first visit here. we came on a good note, but it wasn't important. the staff was wonderful and very attentive and friendly. the voucher allows us to a entrée, a main and a glass wein everyone, we love to try different things so that we shared every meal. we started with entree and ordered the croquettes slightly roasted potato fryers with pancetta and early onions as well as the chilli squid slightly fried tintenfische served with rakete, parmesan and pearsalate and limettenaioli. the croquettes were very tasty and cooked to cook crisp without over cooking. the squid was plentiful and tasty. then for main we shared the salmon crispy skin atlantik lachs served with roasted...read more

Lovely old mansion in a fantastic location. Across from parkland, free parking on side street, opposite gate 2 for Clipsal, 20 min walk to Rundle street and the Adelaide Fringe. The Havelock hotel is the local on Hutt street, 5 min away. Hutt strenuous also includes other Cafe and an iga, Caltex.
