the city yum char is located in the city cross food court and offers a selection of warm furnishings, which are usually served with their choice of fried or steamed rice. I have always taken along and the servings are very generous. there is in the rule a large selection and the food...offer extends to spring rolls, sommes, dim sims etc. faster service, cheap prices. What Carmen Kuhlman doesn't like about City Yum Cha & BBQ:
I am not one to waste food, knowing that there are a lot of people who cant afford to eat, however I just could not stomach this stuff, and was even tempted to go give them their food back.Rice and stir fry vegetables can't be that hard to make right?! But somehow I ended up with a container of soggy rice and gluggy sauced vegetable. There are so many other places in the City Cross food court. Do yourself a favor and... View all feedback.
As the name suggests they have a large range of dumplings and roast meat but they also have a large range of soups - much to my delight. I had the homemade dumpling hot and sour soup. It was packed full of dumplings. And they were big. with a fantastic pork and ginger flavour. The soup was sour but not quite hot (spicy)enough for me so luckily they offer complimentary chilli oil to spice it up to your liking. Now that I'm across the road I think this will become a regular stop.
The specials are actually eating rich. the dame was disastrous to me because she visited another customer. to her unhappiness the other customer did not buy the food.
Avoid this place as possible, who serves dishes without a dish or dish? not very hygienic at all, again use the same emptying dish that anyone can eat with and no chili sauce, one must if they eat yum cha. down there!

Eaten there twice. Dumplings were cold and edges were dried and hard. Food was practically cold. Service was very lacking in service.
