The black bull has a long history going back to the birth of time. Sometime after the big bang but amongst the dinosaurs, the pub gained it’s licence. Warm friendly atmosphere, very inviting, fast service, beautiful food, lovely selection of local wines, polite staff, well priced, family friendly and would definitely eat here again!

Wanted to order the Chicken Wings from menu at 11am on a Friday and they advised they do not have any wings left. All other options are $20+, very expensive for a pub meal on Hindley Street. Not good enough.

Not happy. Walked in and got to my seat. Took almost half an hour untill we got served by someone. Tried the steak and was completely cold? why? Tried to tel the staff about my meal but they were rude to me and I qoute "I dont really care what you think or what you say". At this point  stormed out, awful

Cold is the operative word - cold air conditioning, cold chips, cold burger, cold sticky date pudding. Add more words to make 120 characters

Came into this establishment without much expectation. It was either this or Nandos down the road. I ordered Angus Scotch Fillet with chips and mushroom sauce. It was excellent!! I was so hungry and was so pleased that my calories wasn't wasted on crappy food.
