Sichuan cuisine, great price and actually real authentic Chinese food, I felt like I was back in China. And $50 for 2 and we went home with leftovers and so full. Will definitely be frequenting this one View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Bava Chinese Restaurant:
We have been there before too. Food was decent but waiting staffs are awful and don't deal with customers politely. And they just put food on table like they are throwing. Whatever you do, do not order coca cola in jug. Its all tasteless. I would not go there again. View all feedback.
My husband I really enjoy coming here. We opt for the Hotpot every time. We get to chose what we want, and how spicy. Always busy, but they always manage to accommodate, no one seems to have to wait for a table, always able...to find spare space. Food is delicious, service is fantastic, love it. Price is great. Firm favorite. Cannot say enough about this place.
I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant that serves delicious Sichuan cuisine at a great price. The food tasted authentic and reminded me of being back in China. My bill was only $50 for two people, and we even had leftovers to take home because we were so full. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant more often.
We have visited this restaurant before. The food was just okay, but the service from the waiting staff was awful. They were careless and rude, and they practically threw the food on the table. I would strongly advise against ordering Coca-Cola by the jug, as it had no flavor. Overall, I would not recommend returning to this restaurant.
Just terrible, that must be one of the worst places to eat in Adelaide. A Chinese restaurant where they can't cook rice - the rice was a sticky "blob" that could not be eaten. The main dish bore was not similar to the plate on the menu and was unusable again. Given the number of restaurants in Gouger Street and the surrounding area, this restaurant will not survive. Top the whole disaster with the complete lack of service and you understand the title for this review.
We went in here from a coin when we were new in Adelaide and were bombarded by the choices of Chinese/Asian restaurants available on Gouger Street. The first day was for lunch and the food wasn't bad. We went back two days later, ordered the same dish and to our surprise it was cooked in a slightly different way. Still taste ok, but the content had changed and added a bit more oil. I also tried my luck with sweet and sour pork (I usually try this dish on every new Chinese restaurant I go too) and I would say it is certainly not one that I would recommend. Nevertheless, it really depends on your luck when you visit this place. The waitress we had for both visits was friendly and accommodating (we have two loud guys with us).
