Digger's Bistro - ADELAIDE RIVER

This place has not changed in years. The food is still of a poor standard and over priced. Our steak sandwich and chips tasted the same due to the old oil that was used to cook both the steak and the chips. The chips were greasy and the steak sandwich was bland. $37.85 for 2 steak and onion sandwiches and a small chips is a blatant rip off.

Large, delicious pub food staples done with a smile. Sitting in the garden in the shade with a breeze is heaven. A totally Aussie experience

The food is very tasty and certainly doesn't scrimp on serving sizes. Pilan took our orders and she is very friendly and helpful, thanks. Seafood basket, wow what a feast

This place has yummy food (lamb shank, fish and chips and garlic bread) and a welcoming outdoor atmosphere. There was a duet singing that would engage the audience asking for requests. Everybody is friendly.

Ordered Barra and chips, came with mash potato. Food was good, so let it slide. We were staying in the caravan park, the next night I ordered pork belly with coleslaw fries off the special board. Dinner came without the coleslaw. So went to get the slaw from the salad bar, there were no plates, so I grabbed a takeaway box from the shelf above, only for the staff member to have go at me for taking a takeaway box. The place is iconic if you go to Adelaide River you stay at the Adelaide River Inn, and go to the 303 bar but my experience was totally ruined by these small mistakes and terrible customer service
