La Laja - Adeje

Dined here last night with my husband, it was the second time as we dined here for my birthday a couple of years ago. On that occasion it was fab, but wow it has really deteriorated since then. We were the only guests, so thought the service and food would be the premium level your led to expect by the flyers in the lifts! Not so! No atmosphere, not even any music. We both ordered the onion soup, sounded lovely but disappointing with a wedge of rubbery cheese on top. Main course I ordered sea bass and jacket potato, hubby ordered salmon and we shared a mixed vegetable platter. Jacket potato was undercooked and hard and the specialty butter expected on it was non existent, seabass was dry overcooked and tasteless really who can go wrong with a lovely fish like seabass) and the asparagus was overcooked ! Hubbys salmon was dry and missing the secret sauce, veg was full of grease and the mushrooms were soggy like they had been boiled! Overall very disappointing! When we complained the waitress apologised and took the 7.50 off for the potato only! Don't waste your money! The worse eating experience we’ve ever had in Tenerife.

Good food but very little! the turbot is worth 30€ and you are served half a ridiculous small) it would be better to match the price but that the customers will not be hungry is a pity! the lovely service, helpful and very hardworking

Increíble lugar, me encantó la atmósfera con música en vivo suave, la comida exquisita saboreé el salmón y de postre probé el delicioso yuzu. Lo que más me impresionó fue la atención, el Sr. Juan José, Giovana y Victoria nos atendieron de forma rápida, amable y atenta. ¡Gracias por esa experiencia, definitivamente volveremos!

Buena comida, sin muchas quejas, con un excelente servicio.
