Local raw materials cooked to perfection, very well selected local seriously high quality weine. Service level of a Michelin star place hidden in the hotel el mirador
One of the best restaurants in the hotel el mirador. beautiful terrace location with well spaced tables a pleasant joy. Unfortunately, it was too windy in the evening, so we ended up eating inside, which is equally impressive, but a bit. too bright and the terrace atmosphere lacked intimacy. interesting menu with a good choice, so should match most taste. my wife went for the gazpacho she rated as one of the best she ever tasted and then followed her with a delicious dish. my scallop star was presented well cooked – not quite top notch, but still very good. my head was absorbent, which was extremely good – possibly over elaborately dressed, but nevertheless very impressive. on the other hand, this was a little bit left behind. Although there were only crying on the glass, both were very good – probably the best we were offered on our vacation. service was friendly enough, but it lacked the professionalism that they would expect in a fine restaurant. certainly one of the best restaurants we have tried in costa adeje and would definitely use again.
Booked a table for people on a Saturday night. a coworker once told us that we are not welcome because of the children who were with us. at no point was told that children are not allowed when they are. the employee only apologised the situation, but offered no other solution than being away. our children happen to have a handicap and because of its cp moving around is not so easy. as I said, it was a Saturday night, so getting a table was a hard thing to do. it took us more than to come into a restaurant and until then our year old became quite tired. for his credit I must say that he was least upset about the situation. the restaurant is located in a starhotel that seems to try to maintain good standards on the living. as it happens, I have also been in several star hotels and experienced many michelin star restaurants. some who had the full stars. what they all have in common is the extraordinary service. I have on off-course restaurants that do not allow children, but they all inform their customers in advance. in this case, the service they provided and the way in which the staff was insecure with the situation was not at these standards. Finally it was not our fault, but the restaurants/hotels and they should come at least with a solution where a family with a disabled child not pay on the roads hungry after the trip to the restaurant and off-course for this trip. it is already a few days ago, and there will still be no information about their child policy if book in troggabel or tripsdvisor.
We reserved a table here for a special last night of our holiday. beautiful table with view of the illuminated swimming pool in the night recognized by earlier visit, the service was excellent. really beautiful appetithäppchen, thunfisch and gazpacho. also brot with soft cheese. the wobble soup was. my aubergine vegetarian dish was really unusual, but a nice change from a mouthful dish. the chocolate coulant was delicious, you should not forget, oozing melted chocolate. a large selection of gourmet options available. not missed
