The place is quite apart from what the tourist area is, but it's worth it. the food was very good and, even if it is not of abundant quantity, you are satisfied. As for the staff, without words, very attentive at all times when it was as we had asked. A place I'd come back to!

I dont usually do reviews but this is the only place iv eaten and enjoyed an not felt like iv just thrown money away iv tried the indians in adeji tried one further up ghandis and the one further down from this too bombay babu and one was expensive and the food quality was not upto the money was like a microwave curry no joke !! the other 1 i tried was cheap but still the food quality was missing i gave up and someone we know agreed about the other places and said try curry and spices so gave the takeaway option a go and honestly i enjoyed it and it is not pricey nice food was a little cautious and didnt order to much incase it wasnt any good but yep it was good hit the spot and will be recommending curry an spices to family in future its nice you will not be disappointed this is coming from someone who travels allover the uk for currys ….

Fabulous food, really fresh and not greasy. Staff were very polite and helpful, but they seam to have little idea about making the ambience good. It's a clean place and very presentable as a restaurant. However, we arrived there was no music just a film playing that staff had been sat watching. Yes they got up and went to work but I wasn't in the mood for an action movie. I politely asked for some music and they paused the film and put indian pop music on which was ok. They also put the air con on which was great. Anyway, starter comes fabulous food.. But you don't get a clean plate or fresh cutlery for main course, very unusual.. Main comes out again fantastic food.. We finish eating and within 5 minutes they ask if everything was okay (which it was) the plates are removed which is fine, sk we sit to relax with our drinks and within seconds the aircon goes off, the music goes off and the staff return to a table to continue watching a film.. If it wasn't so quick wed have been fine with it. Anyway, we drank up and left, they said thank you as did we. But it just lacked a little customer consideration. Hopefully they read this and change, if they do it could be a fantastic all round indian restaurant that coulg easily be on a par with the likes of deli dagnar ext.. Still worth a visit for great food.
