We were half board at the hotel and although we’d tried the pool side bar for lunch several times we hadn’t used the restaurant on any of our other visits. This year we visited on 2 evenings during our stay and were very impressed. There’s lots of choice from the buffet and the show cooking is also great. Each evening there’s also a choice of two dishes that can be served to your table so between all the options available there’s certainly something to suit everyone. It’s nice also to be able to dine on the terrace. We will definitely consider going half board for our next visit as I understand that you can switch from dinner to lunch on some days as long as you let reception know in advance.
This hotel offered really good food night after night with a good choice. Liked the fact they displayed each days menu at breakfast so you could plan and look forward to dinner
We have stayed at this hotel more than once and we have noticed a deterioration in the quality of the food and sometimes the way it is cooked. Little things make a difference , the other morning there were no croissants and no one replaced the empty basket. Also the bread rolls that same morning were quite stale. My husband has fish most nights and he says the way the fish is cooked means you can’t really taste the difference between tuna or swordfish or hake or salmon. It’s been cooked so dry it’s impossible to taste any difference between the fish. They used to provide crackers for cheese in little packets now it’s all in a tub which the other day we found were all broken. Quality of the food has dropped in this hotel and we noticed we are not the only ones to have brought this to the managers attention We have another week here so let’s hope after commenting to reception things improve .The staff and the facilities are truly wonderful they are what make this hotel worth returning to year after year. But the food is abysmal and if it stays the same then I cannot see us returning again which will be a shame.
The food was generally good and there was quite a variety but I have had greater choice at other 4 star hotels in Tenerife. Coffee was served at your table but you have to make your own tea. Newly cooked food was sometimes placed on top of food that had been there for some time. Plentiful pancakes for breakfast but no maple syrup. Signs telling you what food was in each hot dish were sometimes confusing or missing.
Such a great choice of buffet food for breakfast and dinner including slow cooked food if required. Never had to queue. Staff helpful and friendly
