I have returned to addis ababa for two months after having spent at least six weeks here in 2012, and I will eat every day at the taitu hotel. the vegan buffet lunch is amazing. they can sit in the historical and quite formal hotel restaurant, or take their plate outside the terrace and sit under green or in the sun. the variety of foods is perfect and the quality never disappoints me. They can choose from their favourite dishes. tasty injera with lenses or kicherbsen, touching mixed vegetables, spinach/colds, a beautiful cauliflower and carrot dish, tasty and sturdy spicy stuffing (wats,) some spaghetti dishes, many different broth, crinkled baked carrots, simple reissies and a lot of simple. it is a great place to be gently introduced into Ethiopian taste. the restaurant of the taitu hotel is very popular with locals and I find it interesting to experience their culture, including the recipe for a beautiful high time to an occasion. the live piano music played on some days is also a beautiful surprise.
