I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for breakfast and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging between £10–20, and for the quality of food and service, it was definitely worth it. I give the food a perfect score of 5. I ordered the Full Breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. The English Breakfast was also a popular choice among diners and highly recommended. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff making sure all our needs were met. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast in a great atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would definitely love to repeat.

The breakfast was phenomenal, freshly prepared and not reheated in the microwave. The coffee was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

I have dined at The Purdy over 50 times in the past 15 years, and each visit has been enjoyable. The dining area is cozy and the staff is always top-notch. Last night, I ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious - the fish was particularly outstanding. The service from the young lady at the bar and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always willing to assist. Although The Purdy is not a 5-star hotel, those looking for a 4-star experience will not be disappointed.
