Absolutely thrilled with 1902 location. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and food sample plate was so good. Hummingbird cake for dessert was excellent. The store offers well organized and appointed shopping by local antiques and art plus a great book section. Our visit is one requiring a sure return. View all feedback.
What Bill Vernon doesn't like about Maggie Mae's Tea Room:
The service was horrible! The bartender was the server for our room. He barely talked to us. However, he was visiting with the gentlemen at the bar. He talked a lot with ladies and the child at next table. A lot ! Didn’t bring the ice tea we ordered but charge us for it. Did he refill the water glasses? Nope! He had to be reminded to bring the dessert we ordered. My fellow tourist do not go. View all feedback.

Historic 1902 Stock Exchange building in historic downtown Adairsville is home to the quaint Maggie Mae Tearoom that is nestled between exposed brick walls adorned with black and white toile tablecloth. We had the sampler -consisting of a creamy quiche, cranberry chicken salad with croissant, salad and fruit. A slice of hummingbird cake finished off our delicious lunch. Also located in this restored building are antique booths, a beautiful staircase and a well equipped book section. Check this out. Open Th-Sat 11-2.
Maggie Mae's Tea Room is a must do when in Adairsville. Beautiful and relaxing great staff. We will be back.
