Fantastic, huge and perfectly seared ribeye, scallops cooked to perfection and amazing lemon grits and asparagus. The entire meal from appetizer to dessert is amazing. The service is on-point from start to finish and the waiter is attentive but not overbearing, the owner chef is friendly. The atmosphere is nice inside and very enjoyable outside as-well. Highly recommend for an overall fantastic experience! View all feedback.
What Steve W doesn't like about Farm Food:
The food quality here is great. Small but quaint little restaurant. Small groups only but perfect for a table of 4 or couples. Pros: great quality, perfectly cooked food with a decent selection. The steak, scallop and pork quality is amazing and the prices are fair. $15 cork fee too. Cons: The chefs crutch of salt is overdone on everything and the soup/desserts are shot glass sizes. The martinis are laced with ice cr... View all feedback.
This place is absolutely the best place to experience. The food was amazing. I mean every last dish mouth watering amazement. Walked out there happy, full, and glad we visited. Thank you! Best meal i think iv ever had away from home!
My wife and I lived in Adair Village for two years and this was our favorite restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. We've lived in a lot of places (NYC, Scottsdale, Denmark, Missouri, Portland) and we can't name a place where you can get a better meal for your dollar. We went around 10 times and never had a complaint. The chef always comes out to check and see how things taste. The menu is constantly changing, but there are always delicious steak and fish options. Things to understand before visiting: it's small and they only seat groups of 4, they are only open 4 days a week, they can be a little slow if it's busy. Also, they are a no-tip restaurant which keeps prices down. If you look through the complaints they're usually related to having a small restaurant with some pretty specific rules. If you have a group of less than 4 and want a hidden gem, definitely eat here!

The steak, scallop and pork quality is amazing and the prices are fair. $15 cork fee too. Cons: The chefs crutch of salt is overdone on everything and the soup/desserts are shot glass sizes. The martinis are laced with ice crystals and small, though they're only $11. All said this is a cool place that I will place as been there done that.
Great food but staff needs to lighten up and not be uptight and too proud. Some awkward moments have been reported by friends. Never go in with four or more people.
So, here 's something interesting: If you look at the social media FB reviews for this place, it gets 4.7 stars. Well, I posted the below review as two stars and it was conveniently hidden (as I suspect others were as well). The owner 's response to my review was, Boy, aren 't you full of it. I was going to hold off on posting to Yelp, but I guess that 's what I 'll have to do. Here goes: Unfortunately, this is not Farm Food. You would think a restaurant with this name in an area with rich agriculture would have locally sourced, quality ingredients. Unfortunately, it did not. The word that kept running through my mind was lazy. Here 's why: I ordered the lemon sage pan-fried chicken, which was actually three chicken tenders breaded in panko and over-salted. My wife ordered the custom cut lamb chops. They were good but nearly overlooked, and I recognized them as being straight from the Costco meat department (pretty good, but still not farm food). Both dishes were served with a combination of broccoli and cauliflower florets with sliced carrots which, again, were obviously straight from a food service company, and diced potatoes in a cream sauce with raw red bell pepper and raw sliced green onion. All in all, these dishes reminded me of those which would be turned out in mass quantity at a mediocre banquet, which is odd considering they have what appears to be a VERY strict policy of no parties over four and they don 't take reservations. As far as atmosphere, they certainly tried, but fell short by using fake ficus trees, neon open signs, and paper napkins. Also, and this might be nitpicky, but it feels weird signing a check for a $72 dinner for two on the server 's cell phone Square app. The bottom line: This restaurant is located in a locavore 's paradise, and they actually named it Farm Food, which would lead a person to believe that they would find a creative menu of locally sourced and freshly prepared ingredients. Instead, they have offered a bait switch which lures the customer in with the name and appearance and then serves up three-star banquet food at best. Try a little harder, Chef, and you could have something worthwhile.
