The location is convenient to stay in Dammam. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is so-so.
Good and specious room. But front office is very ingorant person. Very poor wifi and power connectors are 2 pin, which is disgusting
I don't like the hotel overall, but here is one thing that the location is good nearby may restaurants.
Not Hala but DOOLVE hotel now. The manager needs to care about his guests. Our room was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY when we checked in. Dust on every single surface. It was rancid. We asked to get it cleaned thoroughly while we went for dinner but it was such a horrible job that I requested to move room at 11pm with a 1 year old furious . The bell boy told me that they have ONLY 4 irons for the WHOLE HOTEL over 100 rooms which is UNACCEPTABLE. And not new irons old burnt ones. One which BURNED a hole in my wife's clothes. They only gave 1 towel after I requested 3 towels EVERY DAY. The manager laughed when my friend told him this. They expected us to share 1 total between 3 laughable. The staff told me that the manager doesn't care about his guests. Pure and simple. He wants to cut costs that's what we witnessed. He has hired half the staff and asked them to work double the load. The chefs were also the waiters. The bell boys were also the cleaners. Unacceptable. We asked to be put into NON SMOKING rooms but low and behold, 1 AM into the night and we can smell cigarette smoke coming through our vents from the neighbour. The plug points are SUPER DANGEROUS and FAULTY such a cheap job they're falling apart and the lamps flicker because the connection isn't secure. On many occasions I SPECIFICALLY asked the room service NOT to ring the doorbell but just knock... but they rang it ON EVERY OCCASION. They knew our stay was for 5 nights but for some reason our key cards would expire every night. The staff need to be trained. The breakfast was until 10am. We would arrive at 9am and EVERY DAY it was cold leftovers at that time. The old eggs, no milk, no toast. If breakfast is until 10 then everything needs REPLENISHED until 10. They didn't serve water at breakfast. The manager said only if guests ask !?!?!?!??? The staff told me that the manager of the old hotel HALA was amazing and would ALWAYS ALWAYS put the guests first. If only. Message to the manager the guests needs' come first. You are an extremely rude individual when a guest is complaining to your receptionist, YOU DO NOT interrupt the guest to ask the receptionist a useless question. Spend money on hiring the right number of staff and TRAIN THEM to be professionals. Don't give them a spoon and call them a waiter they need training, which is a very cheap move from you. Spend money to earn money. We were drawn to it because of 2 things price and location. Take my advice pay double and you'll be happy you dodged a bullet.
