With our daughter from Texas, we wanted to have a nice meal. Our son recommended Reel Seafood, said it was very good. We decided to try it, and glad we did! I had the steak and the eggs, the pepper crumbled steak was boiled right. The boiled eggs were cooked with a delicious sauce. My son had raw oysters and the lobster role, he said they were good. My daughter enjoyed her shrimps. I had bread pudding for the desert,... View all feedback.
I went so often from this place and was very curious. My family noticed that they had a Sunday brunch and we finally came out....we were very impressed! The restaurant itself is quite modest inside: not much in the decor and the seats are a bit old, but they do with exceptional service and AMAZING dishes. Although they are a seafood restaurant, we had a few things from their brunch menu that ranged from seafood to other items. The chorizo omelette was absolutely delicious. My sister had the salmon and we died about her grottos and the aromas in them! (So much, I had to order a page of them! I even had a bagel with Lox here and it was delicious and fresh. My mother ordered a page of rubber bears and it is the most authentic Louisiana style rubber bears I had in Georgia so far. To make it even better, they have groundless mimosas at a GREAT price!!! We love going to brunch here and next we want to see the dinner service.
Very, very good. Pictured is the shrimp chicken pappardelle with Cajun cream sauce. Casual atmosphere with upscale and nicely presented dishes.
This little gem of a spot was incredible. The ambience was spot on, it's in a good location of downtown woodstock, and the food... Lemme tell you it's . Loved the food so much I had to steal my date's risotto! Highly recommend for seafood.
First time in at Reel and couldn't be happier! Miss Ruby our waitress was abosoluty out standing! Took my mother her for an early mothers day dinner, she got the salmon with lemon butter, b.f. got paella, and I had the crab risoto every bite was amazing!
This place exceeded our expectations. We ended up coming here last minute. Multiple restaurants in downtown Woodstock were closed on Mondays. We were so glad we found this place. We had a wonderful dinner here. We asked our waitress what she recommended and we took her suggestion. We ordered the red swordfish, with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts as well as another entree. Absolutely delicious. For dessert we ordered the Bourbon bread pudding and chocolate cake. Both were tasty and rich. Inside the restaurant it is very modest. Nothing fancy. Menus, tables and chairs are a bit dated. But the food and service definitely make up for it. We already plan to come back here again and keep this place as one of our go-to restaurants.
