This restaurant is amazing! It's a must-visit whenever you're in town. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice dinner. Prices range from $50 to $100 per person. The food is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes are the Mashed Potatoes Greens and Mac and Cheese, Fried Green Tomatoes, Surf and Turf, and Grilled Seafood Platter.
For my second plate, I had fried pork chops with black eye peas and sweet potato soufflé. The pork chops had no flavor, the black eye peas were undercooked and tasted dirty, as if they had not been properly soaked and washed. The sweet potato soufflé was unpleasant, tasting as if it had been prepared for a nursing home. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and service, and will not be returning to this restaurant. This restaurant offers lunch delivery at an average price range of $30–50 per person. However, the quality of the food and service both received a rating of only 1 star.
This experience we were overly excited about after reading a few reviews. Here was our experience: We felt as a family of 4, two adults, two kids, we were price gouged. It’s very unfortunate, but seems due to nobody else being in the restaurant the entire time we were there on a weekend night they’re attempting to compensate with extremely high prices. A glass of cheap house wine $14 15 a glass is insane. The food the girls got (chicken fingers) was overly chewy and tough. Our meal was just ok. The meatloaf was good but nothing to write home about. The sides were good. The cobbler we got at the end was just gross. No fluffiness or goodness about it. It was like hard gravel rocks and canned peaches dumped in it juice and all. We threw it out. Our bill for 2 adults, 1 glass of wine, husband had water, an 11 and 9 year old was north of 100 bucks for a simple dinner out. The BBQ place across the way from them is 1/2 that price. We support great local business. This wasn’t a good value at all. My advice, give a value priced meal. Clean it up, make it brighter and welcoming. Get a new sign outside or a new location. We won’t go back unless they revamp a lot.
I was there with a group of friends this weekend. We hadn't been there since they moved locations. We were seated immediately. It's a very nice, quiet atmosphere. Our server was very attentive. Had the catfish with sweet potato souffle and mac and cheese...delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
