Was Dan M at Fish Thyme a mag?
My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy, but we had made reservations. We began our meal with the Calamari, which had a generous portion size and tasty sauce. However, the dish... View all feedback.
What Heather D'Amato dislikes about Fish Thyme:
The food at Fish Thyme has potential but is overshadowed by excessively long wait times and unfriendly, unprofessional service. Making a reservation feels pointless. I won’t be coming back. Service: 1 Food: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $50–100 View all feedback.
This was me and my wife first time here we had the stuffed salmon, and everything from the food, desert, atmosphere and service was great!!! Parking: Plenty of parking. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
The atmosphere was fantastic! The Red Snapper dish was delicious. I would rate the food 4 out of 5, the service 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
We initially tried to visit this restaurant without a reservation, which didn't work out. However, we returned last night for our anniversary and it was well worth the wait! We began with the coconut shrimp and raw oysters, followed by my husband ordering the flounder and myself ordering the salmon sorrel. The dish was delicious, though I would have liked a bit more basil. The pineapple cake for dessert was delightful. The portions were generous, and we could have easily shared. The drinks were good and the service was excellent. We will definitely return in the future!
Drove from Sandy Springs on a recommendation. The restaurant is modern with a large patio and gas firepit. Everyone that dealt with us was happy and knowledgeable about the menu. Wide variety of fish was available and the portions are quite large. All ofthe items we ordered were prepared properly with just the right amount of seasoning and sauce to add flavor not hide it.Wonderful experience! Worth the drive. We will be back.
We visited this black owned establishment on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. I have heard around my community that this is a great place to eat! Prior to I called and left a message before opening time to set a reservation for 6 pm that evening. Not longafter I received a text that my reservation was accepted. There is free parking in the plaza of the restaurant which is quitenice. Although it can get crowded due to the crowd demand for this business. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the ownerwho confirmed our reservation. The restaurant has a Mediterranean feel and reminded me of Greece with the blue and white theme. They even have a Mediterranean style fireplace inside which I?m sure they light during the colder months for an added comfortaesthetic. We were seated immediately at a nice table for two towards the back wall. I understood why they didn?t seat us in themiddle due to those tables being for larger parties and I was grateful we didn?t get seated near the kitchen also. Our waitresscame right over and introduced herself as MJ. She was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable on the menu. They had aspecific menu for July 20, 2022 and also their set standard menu. The waitress informed us you can order from either or for theevening and all menu items were in stock. We ordered the following items: fried alligator, white sangria, swordfish au poivrewith hashbrowns French green beans, roasted half chicken with garlic mashed potatoes French green beans, and the cinnamonspice cake. The sangria came out shortly and was lightly sweet and quite refreshing. The fried alligator came out right afterwhich was crispy, had a nice breaded coating with the succulent meat, and the sweet Thai chili sauce was a great complement. Thealligator was not rubbery and was easy to chew. Not long after our entrees came out. The waitress MJ constantly checked on usthroughout our meal experience. They also had staff to take plates away from the table constantly. The swo
