Visited Acre, Israel today and had the most awesome lunch with friends at Darna (home in arabic) Restaurant. There were 14 of us and so we sat at a long table.... read more Visited Acre, Israel today and had the most awesome lunch with friends at Darna (home in arabic) Restaurant. There were 14 of us and so we sat at a long table. When the appetizers started coming out they ended up covering the entire table! Hummus (some of the best I've ever had), tahini, vegetables, tuna, pita, salads, etc, etc, etc I truly couldn't believe the variety. As an American visiting friends in Israel it was a great treat to try so many lovely mediterranean dishes. We all ordered entrees and they were equally wonderful. I had the kebab delicious! The service was excellent and the waiter was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Darna if you're ever in Acre (Akko)!
