The staff ma... read more Hotel Lachea is situated in an excellent area, not far from Catania and Taormina. A family run Hotel with very helpful staff. The food is exquiste. The staff made sure that we were never hungry with the vast selection of food both during breakfast and dinner. Dining at the Hotel was more worthed rather than to dine at the core of the village as the menu is from meat to fish to seafood. The pool is very clean and the rooms are of high standard. The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Enzo the maintenance man, Alfio our waiter and Alberto our receptionist. We had children with us, a one-year-old baby and a five-year-old boy the staff showed great concern every day towards our children. For sure we recommend this hotel to others.

We were greeted as we em... read more We ended up in this restaurant since most of the other restaurants in the area where either closed or offered only fish in their menus. We were greeted as we emerged through a he restaurant area and shown to our pre booked table. We had a starter each and the children had their portion while we were having our starters. He fish soup and salmon salad were divine and the meat presented on the children's plate was exquisite. Our main courses consisted of sea bass cooked al sale which in my opinion is the best way of preserving the freshness of the fish. The service was very good and deserts were discreet. A genuine place for those who like to eat like the locals
