It's a beautiful location and a grea... read more We had a very enjoyable four nights at Mingarry Park and were well looked after by Emma, Nicola, Angus and the other staff. It's a beautiful location and a great base from which to visit the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower was very good. Sleep quality was excellent. A great breakfast from a varied menu set us up for the day, with us looking forward to another lovely meal in the evening.

The... read more This charming, small independent hotel is set in a stunning location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lovely, and the rooms are fresh and thoughtfully designed. The garden pods are a delightful feature if the weather isn’t ideal. If you find yourself needing entertainment amidst the stunning scenery, the pet ducks and rheas are always ready to provide some cheerful antics. This area of Scotland is breathtaking, with untouched landscapes and beautiful beaches, making a stay at Mingarry Park highly recommended.

Despite not having a reservation, t... read more After wandering for hours through the Highlands, feeling a bit lost and hungry, we unexpectedly came across this restaurant. Despite not having a reservation, they kindly found us a table. We enjoyed what could easily be considered the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. This experience truly brightened an otherwise long and exhausting day.

It did feel like they were a little bit of a stickler for time, considering the limited space and size of the accommodations (i.e. how many people would be dining) I do think it could’ve been explained a little more clearly prior to arrival, or upon arrival to avoid any conflict. In the moment it wasn’t shared in the best way. Despite that experience, we were able to enjoy a really nice time in our 24 hours there. Breakfast was wonderful and enjoyed seeing all of the feathered residence of the grounds. The rooms are super spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, despite our not having a reservation, and they made us feel very welcome. The dining room offers a stunning view, complemented by excellent service and outstanding food. I highly recommend the haddock and the venison burger—both were delicious! We will definitely be returning!
