What Richard Lowe dislikes about Shell:
This fuel station is quite pricey, with its fuel costs being 3 pence per litre higher than nearby competitors. It's located next to a busy McDonald's, which means there's a good chance of being cut off by a caffeine-fueled driver in an oversized SUV. View all feedback.

In an area with a high number of COVID cases, one would expect a greater sense of responsibility from such establishments. I assumed that enforcing mask-wearing inside the shop was mandatory, but when I brought it up, the staff claimed there was nothing they could do. During the brief time I was there, I witnessed two separate groups and two individuals enter without masks, while around 10 to 12 mask-wearing customers looked puzzled as to why no one was addressing the situation. I mentioned to the manager that if customers don't feel safe, they'll likely take their business elsewhere, as I plan to do. An organization like Shell should be setting an example when it comes to customer safety.
