This review is written by Samara Osae. I had a wonderful time at the Afro Connect event yesterday held at the Gold Coast Restaurant and Bar. The Jollof and chicken was very delicious. The Jollof had the right amount of spice and tomato based stew, and the chicken was well cooked with a wonderful blend of spices. I also had the privilege to try out one of their Thai restaurants located upstairs across from the Gold Coast Restaurant (Bangkok), and their green curry dish was exceptional! It is packed with flavor and the coconut in it just brings out a refreshingly slightly sweet balance. I cannot wait to eat there again! This is my review from Samara, Tv3 Kidz Arena!
My family and I had a wonderful time. We were so happy! The oldies music was fantastic, and the band was well-organized. My son even said, "This should be our go-to place!"
