I went several times, and I always looked richer than food. Last time we went, we asked for 3 dishes: lentils in field bread (tenia the big meats and fat, the bread with a lot of crumb, with which it entered little stew, without sausages, nor panceta. only lentils and meat with fat. uglia). ñoquis with gulash, the ñoquis glued to the palate, past of flour and coccion, salsa without oversalir. We went with my partner in the week. the place is well placed but it does not lack a bit of wave. nones bar or restaurant. letter a little limited. we ate well but the price is a little high. View all feedback.
Seven serves, four tables, over twenty minutes of waiting once we finished the main course. Though the dishes came relatively fast after ordering (which took a while, since we weren't given our menus until after the waitress had chatted with her coworkers), the food was not worth the wait. Disappointing. The salmon pasta I ordered was grossly overcooked, with watery out-of-the-box tomato sauce that did not go well at all with salmon. The salad was lacking considering its price, and the coffee was acerbic. Midlevel places like this in Argentina tend to be more of a miss than a hit, but Dandy definitely doesn’t live up to its reputation. Other places within walking distance would be a wiser choice wherein quality, service, and pricing are considered. Definitely do not recommend. Three meals, three drinks, and two coffees amounted to over AR$1000. For Argentina, that is expensive.... Compared to U$20pp chains such as this elsewhere, this was a sore miss. Will not be returning or recommending to fellow expatriates.
I needed some lunch and decided to stop in Dandy's Acassuso to check it out again. Valet parking was swift as was the reception that escorted me to a suitable place. The bread basket was varied and delicious. I ordered a veggie bruschetta and it was superb as the vegetables were very well sauteed and seasoned and it came with a side of rucula. The size was large. Then I had a pasta with aubergines and ricotta cheese that was very italian and flavorful. I asked for a cocktail named Garibaldi (bitter and orange juice) that was also great. When the bill arrived I found it very reasonable for the quality.
Family meal with salads, barbecued pork, vegetarian salad and pasta, followed by chocolate brownie and coffee. Service was attentive. Nice atmosphere, not noisy or overcrowded. Valet parking as well.
Great atmosphere and sandwiches. Ordered the pork sandwich with onions. Very tasty and highly recommendable. Them go for a walk!
Would totally, totally recommend Dandy for sushi delivery! Fresh, tasty, takes credit card (even foreign credit cards) over the phone!!! I am a big sushi fan and sometimes have a hard time finding good sushi when I travel. I would highly recommend Dandy if you are around.
