We stayed at the Mar Azul and walked to the restaurant. It was very authentic, good and friendly here. I loved looking out over the main street and watching all the weekend traffic go by (Saturday evening). All though everything was great I found that a Strawberry Milkshake is actually a glass of Strawberry Quick. Oh well :) I onl gave this a 4 star though because we felt that it was a little expensive for what we ha... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Zorrito:
This restaurant is always humming on the weekends and it is in the middle of all the action! It is very colourful and has a lively atmosphere. The Pozole and Pastor dishes are plentiful and very good for a reasonable price. This restaurant has been here for many, many years and it is very popular with Mexican families and tourist's alike. A nice restaurant to try while in Acapulco! View all feedback.
Breakfast was the best we had since the arrival in Acapulco. Ham and cheese omelet, chorizo and eggs, fresh papaya. Service was good. We will definitely return.
Just breathe in this place. If we only rate the food and service, we give a 3. Food wasn't exciting, just average. Service was not the best, but we could see how short employees this place was. HOWEVER, when I left... ignorantly dropped (2) credit cards and my license OMG... we were about (3) blocks away and the waiter somehow found us our darkly lit alley when we were led to our hotel and rushed to us with my cards/licenses. I will act tomorrow with a special PROPINA for this kind and fast... thank you.
Went here for dinner as our tour guide recommended this place for pozole. This is a traditional Mexican meal on Thursdays in Acapulco. It is a type of chicken soup. They bring you avacado, radishes, pork rindes, and lettuce to add to the soup. It...comes either blanco, rojo, or verde sauce. We had blanco which is basically plain but later I had verde which I highly recommend.
Right on the main street the food is authentic and most of the staff are terrific. the prices are moderate good place to go avoid weekends as it is super busy
