Urban Kitchen Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi

We had a wonderful time enjoying the amazing beef wellington at the restaurant with my business partners. It was calm and peaceful, and we all had a great time. Thank you.

Unfortunately missed the musician that played and took requests! The Clarinet was too loud and not needed!

We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant and given a tour after enjoying a delicious gin and tonic. The buffet was impressive with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent, with attentive staff and pleasant conversations. However, we found the food to be fresh but lacking in taste. The wine selection also left something to be desired. On a positive note, the DJ played great music that we really enjoyed. Overall, while the experience was pleasant, the lack of flavor in the food was disappointing.

Luckily we did use the benefits of Entertainer vouchers, but the staff were not happy...otherwise a total waste of money for this very poor selection and quality Saturday lunch buffet. We did book in advance the table, at the entrance they did request to produce the booking confirmation, since they did not find our booking in the system, pretending that, the venue is fully booked. Hahaha...total fabrication, since during our 2 hours stay the occupancy were not more than 10% and, this is because customers are already aware about the venue bad reputation. We are very much suspecting that most of the food were recycled from the day before or whatever, since it did not display the fresh look and taste. The roasting section had on displayed two chickens only, even these are looking tired and lack of taste and one medium size sliced pizza. The serving stands for food were even empty. The noodles stand offered some better options and freshly cooked noodles soup was tasty. We did enjoy only two other dishes: seafood salad and seafood bouillabaisse. All the others, including deserts, were far substandard. Just a simple example, the BBQ lamb chops had been grilled hors before ending on the serving pan. Not any drinks, beverages included, except plain water. The ordered wine, of course on extra, partially saved our almost ruined lunch. We are regular customers of Dusit Thani, even enrolled on the loyalty program, and we chose Urban Kitchen, based on the previous good experience with the Dusit Thani brand, but this time we were so disappointed. We will very much reconsidering the future bookings with Dusit Thani.

The food is absolutely delicious with a diverse selection of dishes from around the globe, and it is all served by the incredible restaurant staff. Kudos to Dusit Thani and Urban Kitchen! We will definitely be returning!
