Shared a slice of carrot cake with... read more The food was excellent and the service was great. The Cowboy Burger that I had was cooked the way I asked for it. Very tasty. Shared a slice of carrot cake with the wife. It was moist and not overly sweet like some tend to be. Lunch is a little less expensive than the dinner menu. Dinner menu looked very appealing, with prices ranging from in the $20 to $50 range. I plan on coming back for dinner in the near future.

Very grateful for a few things we received as well. Big downside though is we didn't get to eat our meals during the reception. I had a few bites got up from our sweet heart table our food was gone. Went up to make another plate, but the buffet was already cleaned up. We did not get to take food home. We were gifted a dessert table we asked the head waitress if she can pack a few things up for us and that seemed like it was a problem.We will definitely be back because we love the inn but this really made me upset that we spent a good amount for our wedding to not get to eat.

The three stars are for some of the best wait... read more First of all, this restaurant is in a beautiful spot surrounded by quaint shops, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The three stars are for some of the best wait staff I've been helped by, great appetizers (and some of the best French onion soup I'veever had), good dessert and very well-made drinks. Unfortunately, the entree I got was very strange and disappointing. Theseafood scampi (which was mussels, shrimp, scallops and lobster on fettuccine) was smothered in a very odd, thick, starchy,salty substance which was not reminiscent of any scampi I've ever had. It was more like phlegm, had a very worrying smell andflavor (I was worried it was off), and was not enjoyable. Next time I will get a steak and hopefully that will make for a 5-starevening.
