We must have been lucky because there was no wa... read more This was probably the best meal I have ever eaten. In the reviews I read quite a few mentioned queues to get in. We must have been lucky because there was no wait at all and we were served quickly. This is a bustling restaurant with friendly and efficient waiters. We sat at a long table and quickly got talking to the couple next to us. It 's all very informal and people on the table behind us also joined in on our conversation at one point. The food was incredible. Shrimp in garlic to start. Dipping my bread in that sauce was delightful. The lobster was to die for. I was in heaven. My dining companion finished with the Prego which is a tradition in this eatery. It 's a steak sandwich the translation is 'the nail '. I did not avail myself of this being full but also not being a meat eater. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The portions are BIG so if you are not a big eater, order 1 dish for 2. They have no problem with that. 1 bottle of wine, 2 dishes, 1 dessert, 1 water and 2 coffees : 32€
