we were here for two nights and the food was excellent. dinner was quite expensive, but fantasy, with a separate 3-course vegetarian menu that made her vegan questioned. they not only dispensed with the bee, but added heel cream as substitute and even made vegan deserts. lunch was a good value for money, a buffet with ever vegan option (and a meat dish) with suppe and an salatable. the breakfast also had several vega... What Lisbet Holmqvist doesn't like about Abisko Turiststation Stf:
We stayed one night at the campsite (2 people, 1 tent). The location is very convenient, as all hiking trails can be reached within 5-10 minutes and there is also a beach on the lake nearby. However, this was the most expensive camping site we have visited in Sweden. We paid 600 SEK and the facilities on the campsite were quite poor. Spent a week with arctic bumblebees. great facilities. beautiful. what is that?
Super nice stay, the hotel is very large and has a lot of space to sit in the fire or a magnificent view.
STF Tourist Station was the best solution in abisko. Eating is great and also the entire staff is really friendly and flexible
The buffet is absolutely fantastic. first I had feared that I would not find so many vegan options on the buffet breakfast and lunch) but I was wrong! everything was vegan except two things. most of the vegan items are also marked. they also have vegan pastries for fika. for dinner there is a vegetarian menu. I checked with the personal if they could make it vegan and they told me that everything on the menu was actually vegan. overall eating is super good and the personal is very well informed about veganism

Eating was delicious, generally plant-based and these people are very well prepared for vegan!
