Cafe Sierra Negra - Abiquiu

A great place to eat! I loved theke with freshly baked coffee cake, carrot cake etc. the music was up and I was greeted by several friendly staff. I had heard that the cookies were great, but they were already sold today. I ordered the fish tacos and they are really good. I wanted to eat more, so be sure to order something else if you have a big appetit. the coffee cake was good, but not amazing. the only bottom is that it took over 35 minutes to go to my food. be patient or call on them. additional information: lots of parking space, dog friendly, a restroom for all, spacious inside and outside with shaded terrace.

Oh boy! That was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! Cold beer and great carrot cake!!

Great food and prompt, friendly service. The Dal was perfection! Never had better. Everything was great. Had to go back for dinner there after experiencing lunch. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place for lunch. Tasty fish tacos, huevos rancheros with green chile stew, then deserts. We waited for the carrot cake to finish cooking preparation, the small wait was well justified. Plus the brownie Basque cheese cake were delicious.

A true delicious delight.. out of the way but worth the trip or when just passing thru. A great menu with something for everyone. Chicken posole was awesome so was the green chile burger. I do recommend.
