What User dislikes about The Spread Eagle:
A nice family owned pub that is dog friendly (except in the restaurant but bar area is allowed). Also has nice outdoor huts for dining and well set up for Covid requirements. The food was a bit of a let down ribs were not properly slow cooked so still had some connective tissue, and the burger meat wasn't great quality with chewy bits in it. The icecream sundae was nice. Very big menu which gives a huge choice for all. Never been disappointed and lovely friendly people giving great service. Have been back several times, definitely worth a visit.
The food and service are exceptional. I always have a wonderful time when we visit the Spread Eagle. P.S. The portions are generous, so be sure to go with an empty stomach!
