Wendy's - Abingdon

Seems to be under better management now. Order was right the past two visits and the food was actually hot and good !

We arrived at Wendy's around 10:30, and they were supposed to close at 11:00. The lights were on, and there were two other cars in the drive-thru line. However, nobody came to the order machine, no one answered the phone, and no one was at the window when we pulled up.

Why is it that the worst restaurants seem to be the ones nearest to us? Update: This place is becoming increasingly disappointing. I attempted to use an app coupon here, but the staff had no clue how to process it. They called the shift manager for assistance, but she refused to apply the discount, claiming the voucher was still valid and that I could use it again later. Unfortunately, when I checked the app again, the voucher was gone. Frustrated, I decided to go to McDonald's instead, where they always manage to accept their app coupons without issue. My last visit to Chili's was not great either; they don't offer as many deals as their competitors, and even when they do, the staff struggles to apply them to the order.

The young lady who served us was very helpful, and aside from two young men who seemed anxious while rolling their marijuana in the bathroom, it was a pleasant experience overall.

The staff is polite, clean and the food seems fresh, but it is slow. Defeat the term fast food. You're never busy.
