We went on a Thursday at 12:30 pm. This is a very busy place for lunch. The menu has changed and they no longer have anything for vegetarians or vegans. No black bean burger and no Thai peanut noodles that were on the website. We had white bean soup the only veggie thing offered served with packaged saltines. Not recommended for vegan or vegetarian diets and expensive for what you get. We had a side of grilled cauliflower which was pretty much raw and served with bland “curry” mayo. When we asked questions about ingredients the waitress told us she should have given us more time to read the menu because she was so busy. After that she kept asking us how things were and became somewhat pesky. Our meat eating friends thought the food was just fine.
This was our first time to Jack’s 128 Pecan and we were very impressed. Amy was our server and she was so pleasant! We had a wonderful time at this darling restaurant. We were in Abingdon because of the devastation in our town of Weaverville NC. We were sorely in need of the wonderful food served to us by Amy. She was attentive and very kind. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service! Service: Dine in
The food was excellent. The beer was a little pricy. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cute place with a lot of local charm and warm service. The soup special that day (tuscan white bean) was excellent and the Caesar salad was well-dressed. Chili rubbed salmon was perfectly done as always and honestly prefer it without the added taco parts. Hushpuppies were also too good to not finish the whole basket! We were very pleased with our lunch here and would definitely recommend to others in the area. Service: Dine in
