Pho King
4.1 / 5 (9 reviews)

Description

Pho King offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience with standout dishes like flavorful pho, marinated grilled pork vermicelli, and addictive egg rolls. The broth and meats impress, though some sides like pot stickers can be inconsistent. Drink options, especially boba teas and Vietnamese iced coffee, are popular but may lean overly sweet. Service is notably slow, reflecting a new and understaffed operation, and the interior can feel warm during busy times. Portions vary, with some wishing for more noodles in large pho bowls. Despite these quirks, Pho King’s authentic flavors and potential make it a promising favorite for local Vietnamese cuisine enthusiasts.

My family and I were eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant, and we weren't let down on opening day! The pho was both delicious and authentic. We also loved the Vietnamese iced coffee and the boba milk teas. Pho King could improve its service and is currently cash-only, but I believe they'll excel with time. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! I ordered a medium bowl of pho, and it was enormous! I hope you get the chance to try this place!

The food is phenomenal! Best pho in town! The only critiques I have is make sure you aren't on a schedule when order from here as the food always takes longer than expected but it's really worth the wait. And if your ordering Togo always check to make sure you got everything.

My first time having Pho! I also got egg rolls, pot stickers, and a boba lemonade tea. The egg rolls were incredibly delicious, I would happily eat an entire plate of just them. The boba tea/lemonade mix was immensely sweet and I was unable to finish it. I cant handle heavily sweet things, so that might just be me, though there was a bit of an artificial taste in general. Pot stickers were meh. Seemed like they'd been steamed too long till soggy before put in the pan and fried on only one side. There wasn't a ton of flavor in them either. Was not a fan. The Pho was decent, though I think next time I might ask them to skip the cilantro/greens, as the herbatious flavor was overpowering. The meat and noodles were great! The egg was fried to death though, and was rubbery. I'd like to give this place another try, but I think I'd rather get my meal to go, at least in the summer time. Though you could tell AC was on, it was noticeably hot in the building. That on top of hot food made it a bit uncomfortable.

Service is slow so be prepared to wait. Also make sure you make yourself known you want a menu. No one seems to approach when you come in. The boba drinks are delicious. The food was also good. The grilled pork vermicelli was perfect. The way they marinated the pork was way good. But, the noodles were a bit soggy to my liking. The pho beef was tasty. Food over all is delicious. It's the only Pho in town so far that caters to the vietnamese cuisine so I would say I'd come here again. 3 star for service. I'd give it a 4 star for the food. Be nice to have more of the authentic soups. I think they are playing it safe for now.

The best Pho I've eaten The food was hot, savory, and very delicious!! This is a new establishment so patience is definitely required with new staff that's learning. We had steamed and fried dumplings for an appetizer. Then we ordered medium Filet Pho, spicy and added an egg . WOW! Mind-blowing flavor !!!
