Kings Arms - Abergavenny

After a very long 6 hours drive from yorkshire we finally arrived at the kings arms hotel, from the minute we left her until we 2 days later, the staff could no longer have been polite, helpful and friendly. we were asked if we helped with our baggage (which we rejected) then showed to our rooms where low were covered and slants in the floor (it is an incredibly old place with a lot of character and charm.) at one point we asked for additional towels (as there were a few of us) and the staff was happy to commit and asked if we needed something else (more bottled water, teen) the location is at a great place to see a beautiful landscape to the side, while at the corner of the city center, so is close to everything they want or need. on the outside they have a large sitting area nice for a sunny day. the back extends to a large event area, in which we arrived at the night, there was a local band that had a good time there. breakfast was beautiful, even a selection of how they prefer their eggs, along with various chalks and juices, yogurt etc. bed was comfortable, plenty of storage space and spacious rooms. they were also a bevel, hair dryer and earplugs delivered in the room, but we had no need. the temperature of the shower was great and had not understood its own. all in all 5 stars (may there be more) would definitely recommend and would stay there again if I were in the opposite. thank you for a really nice, lovely kings arms staff.

Fantastic Christmas work for the 2nd year. I have been with many Christmas work, and I have to say at this point that the quality of eating and the atmosphere is excellent. I would like to thank sacha and her fantastic team for being so attentive and so welcome. I would highly recommend this place for the quality of the food, service and beautiful rooms. many thanks to x

Drink the meal on Tuesday. not disappointed by the choice. the best eat in a long time. Beautiful menus and personal boss have all our fussy needs including a coeliac! meal brought quickly, well presented and welcoming by very good service. would recommend the antipasti starter. Thank you.

Oh my goodness, wonderful eating, beautiful staff, beautiful hotel. great place, what can I say more, they have not regret to stay here, at the beautiful place.

Superb from arrival to depart ! Fab staff very accommodating and very friendly . Amy was super . Food was stunning so tasty i cant stop talking about it and boring everyone with the details . We will be back this was our second visit and believe me was as delicious as our 1St visit . Thanks Guys was a true treat x
