I spent the weekend in the village and discovered this lovely place for lunch while out for a walk. The hospitality was top-notch and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Teacup lunch - it's great value for the portion size. I'll definitely be returning. View all feedback.
Visited here on a cold snowy March Sunday. We’d booked in advance and we’re pleased we had because it was busy. We had the roast beef, hunters chicken and popcorn chicken from the children’s menu. The meals were all excellent generous portions and so full of flavour. The roast beef in particular was one of the best roasts I’d had in a long time, if not the best ever the beef was very tender and all the trimmings were topped with a rich gravy. We had hardly any room left but couldn’t not try one of the cakes which all looked lovely. It was busy despite the snow, but the service was efficient and friendly and the cafe had a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again, especially if roast beef is on the specials menu!
Visited this cafe whilst on holiday with family. Opted for the roast beef dinner, and absolutely by far the nicest roast beef I have had in the past few years. It was so tender, the gravy was delicious, the whole meal was truly truly delicious!! Will definitely return.
Nice food and coffee. Friendly service. A lifesaver after a cold cycle. Have been before and will return again. (tasty white hot chocolate drink last time). Thanks
We went to The Brae Cafe for lunch two weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I asked for an adult portion of one of the kids meals and it was no problem, my hubby had a Pannini which came with salad and crisps, my daughter-in-law had a Chicken burger which had crispy bacon and mozzarella cheese on top, served with chips and a side salad, my son had the Venison burger which was enormous and he loved it served with chips and salad too. The kids had chicken goujons with chips and it was enormous, enough for the 9 year old but too much for the two year old. The service was excellent and the staff willing to do or fetch whatever we wanted. Id certainly recommend a trip to The Brae Cafe.
