Scott's is always a favourite for lunch or just a scone. It's always busy so getting a seat can be an issue but a busy place is a good place. Very good prices aswell View all feedback.
What 186525Joanna doesn't like about Scott's Coffee Shop:
the food was lovely. our first waitress was lovely. however when diane took our coffee and payment it was clear she was NOT having a good day. unfortunately by her manner she clearly would have preferred to work in any other environment than the table service industry..i do hope she manages to secure work elsewhere as being in the coffee shop clearly makes her very unhappy and angry. Great bowl of Cullen Skink here as usual, and service warm and friendly as normal. Always busy so shows you it's popular and worth a visit to this wee hidden gem.
At first we had difficulty finding Bairds, which is located upstairs in Scott 's Pharmacy in the centre of Banff. A very friendly staffer downstairs showed us where we have hidden it and we were led up to a very cute little dining room with very friendly service and basic but well-prepared lunch dishes, coffee and tea. I had the chicken and sweet corn pie and the potato and leek soup. Very tasty and the price was right!
My first visit to this upstairs restaurant, for an early lunch. Friendly, efficient staff. Everything very clean and tidy. Food orders taken quickly and our meals themselves arrived quickly. My soup and panini was just right and most enjoyable. Tables are fairly close together, but didn't feel intrusive. The only slight problem I felt, was the noise of the coffee making/drinks machine what a din! I'd certainly choose this restaurant again for my lunch.
I visited Bairds Bistro today with my uncle. We wasn’t sure if it was at the post office or not as there’s no visible signs that we could see, although we was recommended by family that it was upstairs, I asked someone in the post office and they directed us upstairs. Very clean with lots tables and a multi choice of of food on the menu, the staff are very friendly, I asked about WiFi and they told me how to get on. We only had a couple of coffees, (americonos) which was very good. The cakes looked lovely, although I didn’t have any this time. Overall, it was a very good coffee shop, although the seats could have had cushions on and possibly a sofa and possibly more signs outside advertising a coffee shop upstairs. Looking forward to coming again!
