Contribute FeedbackThe Leisure Centre restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, with plenty of choices on the menu, ranging from seafood to hearty Sunday roasts. However, recent reviews suggest inconsistency in food quality and service, with some diners encountering undercooked meals and lengthy waits. While many patrons enjoy the atmosphere and reasonable prices, others express disappointment with specific dishes, such as overly spicy Cajun chicken or poorly prepared soups. Despite these critiques, the venue remains appealing for family outings and events, benefiting from its spacious layout and nearby bowling alley. Overall, the restaurant seems to be at a crossroads, with room for improvement.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch, carvery with 3 different meats to choose from and a good selection of vegetables, great atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.
Had a good family meal here. Good food and good service and really good value. The restaurant was really busy which shows that the owners are doing something right.
First time I’ve been to the leisure centre when a band was playing, very well organised and managed. They had a bar set up which was well manned to save crowds forming. Can’t wait to see who they have coming next!
Went here with our family for lunch on the 30 December and there was a restricted menu. That didn't matter as there was still good choices and we all really enjoyed our meal. The service was very good and the prices were very reasonable.
Plenty choice on the menu but we went on a Thursday so we got a fish deal. Great menues to choose from. Lovely food and the fish is cooked in various ways. Would recommend as they also hold tribute nights, weddings ans funerals or funeral teas when requeated. Plenty of parking and wheelchair access. There is a bowling ally next door to the Centre.
