we were here for a week for the birthday of hubby. absolutely loved it total setback for us away from each and all (including technology). great walks. we love Scotland and everything it has to offer. we will definitely book here in the future and take time to look around the castle View all feedback.
What Scottish Traveller doesn't like about Laird's Kitchen:
Elderly person who served us had an utterly bizarre attitude which was off putting and we won’t return. The lady came over to us and said absolutely nothing no hello, no how are you, not even “what would you like?”, nothing! She walked over to our table and basically just looked at us. Me and my partner looked at each other a bit confused yet reeled off our tea/cake order anyway. The whole experience was very off put... View all feedback.

More beautiful place to visit and have beautiful walks in the complex. some rooms were closed when we went due to storm damage and the entry fee was reduced to £5. the photograph is not allowed in the castle.
Beautiful burg to look around. the lairds kitchen makes amazing eating, cakes are really good. I can recommend
I can't describe how wonderful this is. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the story and the rooms were beautiful, so much history and it was a real joy to be there. the tee room is highly recommended. eating was incredible and options for children. the lemon cake is fantastic! we will definitely get a dtime again.
Lovely grounds. Very peaceful. Had some yummy scones too .
