I don't know if this is the same chip shop as the other reviews but this is called Shah's Fish and Chips and I certainly don't have any issues with it. Friendly service, clean and fresh inside, very nice fish and chips the fish freshly cooked. Sat outside and enjoyed my meal. Observes social distancing and supplies handwash. View all feedback.
What Owen J doesn't like about Aboyne Fish Chips:
The restaurant was awful. I ended up feeling sick and throwing up on the sofa. The fries were an odd purple color. Fraser ended up having to go to the hospital and Max couldn't stand the fries. I ended up giving my best friend my leftovers for a week. View all feedback.
By shutting the door would be a good one bin sick for three day after being there
Yesterday, we went to Shah's Fish and Chips and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Aboyne area, especially during the holidays.

The chips were reheated and extremely dry and hard, making them inedible. Upon entering the shop, the stale smell of chip oil was noticeable. The fish was decent, but the fish cakes and nuggets were dry. The two donner kebabs we ordered did not taste fresh, leading us to believe that the meat had been microwaved for reheating. It is unfortunate because the shop has a nice and modern ambiance, but we would not return or recommend it.
Excellent freshly cooked to order fish and chips for 2 of us. Gorgeous batter, beautifully cooked Haddock and lovely chips (but too large a portion for us).
